Before the visit

You do not need to diagnose the shower yourself. A few observations can help the assessment start with better context.

• Keep photos showing when and where moisture appeared.
• List previous repairs, regrouting or silicone work.
• Note whether the problem follows every shower or only long use.
• Make adjoining rooms and the ceiling below accessible where possible.

What to discuss during the assessment

Explain how the problem has changed and point out every affected area, even if it seems unrelated. Ask which parts of the shower system can be assessed and what remains uncertain without opening finishes.
